My Creativity Resolution

I will suspend the rules in order to explore
I will explore in order to play
I will play in order to create pieces that express myself
to venture beyond what I have been taught
to open doors I did not know were there
to immerse myself in color and form
to cross over, to prod, to swerve, to jump
where white is not white
where black is not black
where even gray is purple

Basket display

Another neat rug display.  A basket filled with rolled rugs.

I found this basket at Sauder Village.  In the village, they have many artisans' shops.  One is a basket shop.  When I walked in and saw this basket, I fell in love with it.  Had to have it and figured I could use it to carry wool.

But when I got it home, I thought I would try rolling some of my rugs and storing them in it in front of the fireplace.  It is nice to see the rugs stored there, rather than tucked under my bed where I can't see them except when I take them out and hang them on the wall.

I took a picture of the talented lady who crafted the basket in the village.
